Weekend Fun! December 10-12

Friday 12/10

Amelia made this sweet creation at her sitter's house, and was happy to demolish it:

Sugar in the evening? Sure, when you have a babysitter coming over! :)

We had a rare night out without Amelia, for Chris's work Christmas party.

Saturday 12/11

We took a little trip down to a local botanical garden, to take some Christmas pictures of Amelia.

Here are some of the favorites:

Amelia did really well posing and looking cute, and seemed to enjoy herself.

She found the place fascinating, so it was a good choice.

Sunday 12/12

All dressed up, ready to go to church:

After church, I took a little time to take a few more pictures - some close up shots:

Amelia took a nice nap, and then later we got her all bundled up to go outside and play in the snow:

She really enjoyed the snow:

But was a little hesitant about the sled:

But enjoyed watching us go down the hill:

Chris and Amelia enjoyed making snow angels together:

It was a nice weekend -- and very successful, with the Christmas pictures!

Friday 12/3

Dinner out at our favorite Mexican joint:

We went into the bike shop so Dad could drool over some stuff, and Amelia picked out the bike and helmet she wants:

Saturday 12/4

All dressed up to go out to run some errands with Daddy:

Distracted from grocery shopping for just a minute:

While Amelia was napping, Chris and I decorated the outside of the house:

She loved it!!

Then, she helped us decorate the inside of the house:

Sunday 12/5

All dressed for church!

Our church had a little fundraiser afterward, to send a monetary Christmas gift to a charity in the Dominican Republic.

Amelia made a craft to go with the gift:

And hung out with some other little girls coloring:

Later, she was so excited to see that it was snowing!!

Amelia and Mommy went to Walmart to grab some Christmas stuff.

Amelia got a kick out of these dolls and the noises and movement they made:

It was a great weekend!
