Week 28 & Weekend Fun - March 13-18

Week 28 Picture!

Tuesday was Chris's Birthday:

He looks a bit scruffy because he was sick that week.

But we still celebrated!!

It was actually a series of celebrations... dinners with friends, family, trip out of town. I *think* he got a special enough day?

Luca "helped" me make the cupcakes:

Grandma came in town to watch the kids while Chris and I went out of town for a short trip. Our babysitter ended up taking some days off, too, so Grandma's work was cut out for her!

Wednesday - home with Grandma. Chris had left for the trip, but I was still home.

On that same day, Mommy & Daddy were enjoying St. Patrick's Day with the masses in Boston!

So we made it back home, and the kids did fine. Most importantly, Grandma Dona survived 4 days alone with 2 kids, and she's already signed on to her next duty! :)

Preschool Fun!

Earlier this month, Amelia had her class picture for Preschool.

We haven't gotten the picture back yet, but she was looking pretty cute that day!

I was nice going to Amelia's school and hearing about how good she's been doing. We have a parent/teacher conference next month.

Week 27 & Weekend Fun - March 9-11

Wednesday was pajama day at daycare. Amelia was SUPER excited!

That night, we drove halfway to see my family to celebrate Chris's birthday and Grandpa's birthday.

We were also saying goodbye to my brother, who moved with his family out East:

Saturday morning, Luca did his usual thing of waking at an inappropriately early hour, but then falling back asleep in a poor awake parent's arms:

But then he awakens later all chipper and ready to go!

The kids and I headed out to a friend's daughter's first birthday party. Chris stayed home because he'd been sick.

It was a cute monkey theme...which is the current leading contender for Luca's first birthday, as well!
