Week 25

Month 6! This month (weeks 25-28), baby is an eggplant. During this month, my little girl could range from 13.5 to 15 inches long, and from 1.5 pounds to 2.2 pounds. Also, I will go from 2nd trimester to 3rd next week! Wow.

I think this month will fly. It includes the big events mentioned a few posts below, the "due date" for our baby furniture and hopefully a lot of rest! And then there's the wiggly anticipation of my baby showers in month 7! :)

I have some new pictures to share. Check back in a day or so, and I'll try to get them up.

Wow! I can't believe how fast the time is flying. We are so excited to be able to see in your blog all the details. Just one request -- another pic -- same view (side), at this timeframe. Enjoy the pregnancy. Enjoy every kick and jab. It's something that will only be a memory in years to come. Be prepared for the ribs to take a beating this last trimester -- especially at the end. Enjoy being able to tell that it's a foot kicking, as you can feel in inside & out. Enjoy feeling like you know where the head is now. You're probably right! Oh, I have such wonderful memories of carrying you and your brothers. The only thing that topped that was holding you for the first time. What a totally exciting, intimate moment. Yeah, you all were cleaned up before I held you -- or if you weren't, your faces definitely were, and you were "swaddled" in a blanket. Oh, Chris & Julie, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! I know you're excited Chris. This is something you and Julie have wanted, and God granted this your wish -- your prayer.
We love you both -- all three of you -- Julie, Chris & Amelia. Love, Mom & Dad
