Amelia had a busy week. We got back from Boston on Tuesday and she spent Wednesday and Thursday at her Sitter's during the day.
Then on Friday, her Sitter had taken the day off. I had a team meeting in Columbus, so she spent the day on campus with Daddy! He took her with him on all of his errands around campus and introduced her to everyone. For his classes, he lectured briefly (with her assistance, of course) and showed a video. The students got a kick out of her presence.
On Saturday, she and I went to her first birthday party -- for her friend Gabby. Melissa (the mom) is a close friend, and we get invited to the "family party" every year on Michigan game Saturday. All of Melissa's family had fun playing with Amelia.

On Sunday, Amelia, Chris and I went to Dayton to visit my mom, who just had surgery the previous day. It was a surprise visit, and my mom loved seeing her. And Amelia loved showing off all of her newest skills!
Later on that day, we went to Fado back in Columbus, to watch the Columbus Crew (major league soccer) play in the MLS finals!

She's really not a fan of the picture chair anymore. She just wiggles around and doesn't smile. We start there, but then I give up.
