Today, we took it easy around the house. After Amelia's nap [yes, that was singular.... we seem to be dropping the AM nap], we headed up to the beach at Delaware State Park.
After the way she was playing with sand last week, and our upcoming beach vacation, we thought we'd take a trial run at our local beach.
Amelia was all for it, despite the fact that it was overcast and not terribly warm out today.
She loved playing in the sand:

She is so independent when she's having fun. If we don't watch her - she takes off!

She's a beach baby's beach baby ... Julie, you loved the beach, as did we did! Like mom, like daughter, like granddaughter!
now how cute is that? she's going to be the cutest baby on the beach! i love how she takes her steps so deliberately! freaking cute! i thought she was going to mow down on the sand with her face in the bucket...now that would've been a funny video! :)
oh.. now that i'm back.. i'm ready for parts two and three! :)
