On Saturday morning, Amelia and I did a little shopping, while Chris did some grading.
Amelia was wearing her OSU jersey, in preparation of the big game against Iowa.
Then, she pulled off her shoes and socks and ran around on rocks. Interesting kid...
Later, after her nap, Grandpa arrived for a visit!!
She climbed him, like a mountain climber...
And snuggled onto his lap....

And shared a snack....

And turned someone's puffy jacket into a lovely dress:

I know... so many pictures I post are just her in a onesie (the little shirt that snaps over the diaper). I swear, we do put clothing on her. It's just that so often, she feels constrained and pulls stuff off.
Actually, this night... it was a different story. Amelia has been learning a lesson on being nicer to our kitty-cats. She's had several moments in time-out for patting Penny too hard, despite our asking her not to. And Bella, the fuzzy cat, tends to just avoid her.
Well, the best we can tell (since no one saw this happen), it seems that Amelia might have either scared Bella or pulled her off of a little ledge that she likes to sit on -- because it seems that she fell on top of Amelia. Amelia was found on the ground, with puncture wounds all over her, as if back claws might have landed on her. Poor girl had to be doctored up, so she spent the rest of the night in a onesie to keep her wounds free of irritation. You can see a bandaid on her right arm in the pictures above.
She's a tough kid, and got over the drama awfully quickly.

On Sunday night, Grandpa was still hanging out with us and Joey and his parents came over to join us for dinner.
Amelia hadn't seen her good friend in weeks, so she chased him around the house:
And then wore his shoes for a bit:
