Weekend Fun!

We had fun last weekend!

On Friday, we went over to a friends' house for dinner.

On Saturday morning, Chris rode in a cycling event and Amelia and I went to see him at the halfway point. Michelle, Kevin and Carrie joined us all for lunch.

Later, we spent time at the house. Amelia loves to play outside.

We decided that it would be a good time for Amelia to try the bike trailer again. She HATED it last year.

She really liked it this time. Chris said that she yelled "weee!" whenever they went over any sort of a bump.

So we'll definitely be going on family bike rides this summer!

On Sunday morning, we went to church.

After, we thought it would be a good time to make a little souvenir of Amelia's upcoming 2nd birthday.

We went to the local paint-your-own-pottery place:

Chris kept her busy playing with paint and such, while I worked on the base of the plate.

I think we did really well! I can't wait to see what it looks like after it's cooked!
