The day we found out (in January), I used Amelia to tell Daddy the good news. I lured her upstairs, changed her shirt into a "Big Sister" shirt, and told her that when we got downstairs, she needed to get Daddy to read her shirt.
Here's the video:
I promised her m&m's if she did a good job. In the video, Chris asks her if I had told her (meaning about the baby), and I had not, so she was meaning that yes, I told her that she'd get m&m's!
Enjoying her reward:
We had a good first appointment at 8 weeks, and got to see the little bean on screen. Everything looks great so far!
We had told Amelia about the baby not long prior, so she would understand why Mama was so tired lately. So she was SO excited to see the first picture of "Teeny Baby".

Later that night, we got on Skype to tell Chris's parents the news. We got Amelia back in her shirt, and tried to help them see the shirt and understand the significance.
Grandma Dona's turn:

Grandpa Tom and Grandma Linda's turn:
We then told my family when we saw them that weekend.
Everyone has been quite excited, of course!
I had another good appointment at 12 weeks. My doc even gave me a (free!) peek at the baby again!

So far, everything has been going well. I had morning sickness from about weeks 7-11, and have been pretty tired, but things are going well otherwise!
