Weekend Fun - Oct 22-23

Saturday 10/22

Luca was pretty fussy in the morning. Daddy took him downstairs, put him in the Baby Bjorn and cleaned the house, letting Mommy and Amelia sleep! Yay!

Later, we went to the farmers' market (the season is almost over - no!!). We did our usual thing of picking out some stuff, and then going to the local coffee shops for drinks and treats.

We came back home to get some stuff done around the house, and let Luca nap. He had other ideas and took all his naps in Mommy's arms, so I didn't get much done. Oh well!

Later, we got Amelia suited up in her Halloween costume, to go trick-or-treating at the zoo.

She chose to be Cinderella, which was easy for us, because we already had the outfit!

We accidently forgot Luca's costume, but he didn't care... he napped the whole time:

Sunday 10/23

Week 7

Official week 7 photo!

Luca has been smiling a lot lately. We haven't caught a full one on camera yet, but this is the tail-end of one.

Luca had a great week. Mommy had to return to work, so Grandpa Larry spent the week with us, hanging out with him during the day.

They did a lot of this:

I was jealous that someone else got to have snuggle-time with my little boy, but I was happy that Grandpa got his turn!

Weekend Fun - Oct 15-16

Saturday 10/15:

In the morning, Amelia and I went to a craft fair at the fairgrounds, while Daddy stayed home with Luca for a bit.

Later, we all went to a soccer game up at the University

Sunday 10/16

Amelia helped us give Luca a bath before church:

Apple Picking

We took the kids apple picking last week. We got a TON of "Melrose" variety apples. They are delicious!
