Weekend Fun - Oct 7-9

Friday 10/7

We headed downtown for some festivities - this month's theme was the fire dept.

Amelia enjoyed getting a new fire hat and testing out the fire hose:

Luca tagged along as we had dinner and walked around downtown, and was pretty relaxed the whole time.

Saturday 10/8

In the morning, we went to the farmer's market, and went to our favorite coffee shop for drinks & treats.

We came back home, so the kids could nap, and to get some stuff done before a big night later.

We had a babysitter come to watch Amelia, while we took Luca to our friends' wedding.

He was dressed in a snazzy tie-onesie:

Luca was asleep until the ceremony ended -- yay!!

He looked so pitiful when he woke up:

But surprisingly, he did not get fussy at all that night! Maybe it was the music... maybe it was the pack of adoring friends... he was a good baby all night!

It was a beautiful wedding, and a nice night out with friends. Once we saw how many kids were there, we wished that we'd brought Amelia, but she had a good night at home with her sitter.

Sunday 10/9

We didn't get a pic of them together, because Amelia left early with Daddy, who was playing in the worship band. Luca and I followed later, and thankfully made it in time to see Chris's debut!

Luca wasn't terribly interested.... but the music was great!

After church, we zipped down south to the Italian festival. A band we enjoy was playing, and we made it just in time for lunch and the band.

Luca wasn't all that interested in that music either...

Or perhaps he just really likes music and it calms him? :)
