Wow, I am SUCH a big girl!
How about an update?
This kid changes every day!
1) Forget walking - I'm running!! She can really get moving when she wants to get somewhere.
Last night, we used the backpack/leash for the first time (see example below). She doesn't always like to hold our hands, and as you'll read below, she tells us when she wants to get down, so I guess we are pro-leash kind of parents. But she looks pretty darn cute in it :)
2) She's starting to string words together. "Want down", "one, two, three", "hi, Dani!" (to her friend, Danica). And she says "bye bye" and "night night" a lot. As a whole, she's at 45 words, so it's neat seeing her learn how they connect. And she's really starting to ask for things that she wants.
3) She's figured out how to walk backwards and she likes to do it. It's kind of funny. :)
4) She's so adventurous with food! We added in meat a few weeks ago and it's been a seamless transition. She's such a good eater when it's something that she likes, and she's fairly good about trying things. Lately, she's enjoyed things that she can crunch into - like corn on the cob or an apple.

and i was all set to try her on a soy chorizo/egg breakfast taco.
