Little Amelia is a bottomless pit when it comes to food -- I'm not sure how she's still under the 50th percentile for weight!
She has learned early that the most important meal of the day is Breakfast. Usually she has 1 pancake (fresh on Saturday or Sunday, reheated the rest of the week) -- about 5-6 inches in size, and about a cup of fruit. Lately, she has been eating 2 pancakes, and an entire banana! THEN, when she gets to her sitter on the weekdays, sometimes she demands a second breakfast there too! This week, she had french toast or cereal there, after eating at home.
She has 2-3 snacks throughout the day -- usually crackers, cereal, fruit, veggies or yogurt.
She eats a huge variety of things for lunch at her Sitter's house. She eats chicken, turkey, and other meats, lots of veggies (loves broccoli and brussel sprouts!), and fruit. She has a little less willingness to try new things at dinner. But she's always been that way -- a little pickier with mom and dad.
She also has a little less patience as it gets later in the day -- if we don't feed her pretty quickly after she gets home, she makes sure we know that it's not acceptable. :)
