Weekend Fun!!

What a weekend! It was full of fun times, but not so much that it felt too busy.

On Saturday morning, Chris had some grading to do, so Amelia and I went down to the Fall Harvest Festival in Worthington. We did a bit of shopping, and Amelia painted this lovely pumpkin!

I promise, it looks more lovely in person. :)

After a nice mid-day nap for Amelia, we all headed back down to Columbus for the annual Italian Festival.

Amelia made an awesome pasta necklace:

Then, she watched some older fellows playing bocce:

Next, Amelia and Mommy rode the train through the festival!

She loved it, and kept saying "woo woo" when the driver would hit the horn:

They also had this perfect Amelia-sized carousel that she LOVED!

It's a shame that the video is so fuzzy -- you'll have to take my word for it that she was loving it!!

We had a great time at the festival!

Amelia even did some dancing to the music...

We left the festival and went and hung out with some friends to watch the OSU game.

But Amelia was more into the lawn and the doggy's chew toys.

Chris kept launching the balls into the air really high, and Amelia would look up, laugh, and usually fall over.

On Sunday morning, Mommy and Amelia went to Columbus for the Walk for Autism.

She had a really fun time, except for being terrified by the clown that made the balloon doggy that she is holding in the above picture.

She made friends with a couple of therapy dogs:

And got her face painted:

After a long afternoon nap, we all went out to a pumpkin patch. I will save those pictures for another post!
