Terrific Thursday!!

This edition of Terrific Thursday has some of my favorite pictures that I've taken on my new camera in the past week.

I love this picture! Look at her face and eyes. :)

The very first pic I took on the new camera:

A wound-up toddler:

Playing with a toy golf club:

Getting into (someone else's) Christmas tree:

Inspecting an ornament:

With a jingle bell necklace:

Making her "face"!

Beep beep! On her scooter tricycle:

My two absolute favorite pictures of the whole Christmas season. Better than her professional Christmas pics!

Back on the scooter:

Happily running and clapping:

Enjoying the snow while she sledded:

Snow bunny:

Really focused on something:

Climbing on Daddy:

Playing with her belly button... her favorite past-time:

Christmas Pictures

Here are Amelia's Professional Christmas pictures.

They were scanned into my computer, so the quality is not great.

Christmas Fun - Part 5!

More pictures from our Holiday adventures!

Monday - Last day of our trip

Amelia looks sad... did she catch on that she was going to have to say goodbye?

Amelia in a chair that once belonged to Great-Grandpa Maul, and had been used by her Daddy:

One last game of catch in Michigan - with Grandma "Namma" Dona:

After a fun morning hanging out at the house, we packed up the car and hit the road.

First, we stopped in and had a quick lunch with Grandpa Tom and Linda:

Amelia likes the super-long straws at Bob Evans:

After the long drive home, Amelia was so happy to see her kitties and her toys again.

But she and Daddy just wanted to race the remote-controlled vehicles that Amelia received for Christmas:

But then it came time to put everything away, and Chris enlisted Amelia's help in cleaning up:

Amelia went to bed a happy child, and slept in this morning.

Tuesday

Her sitter had requested this day off, so Amelia and Daddy had a fun day together.

Amelia was still so excited to play with all of her toys and stuff, and wanted everyone to play with her.

Setting up a tea party:

Serving her doll, Bessie:

And then she wanted to brush Elmo's teeth:

After a fun day together, they ended the day watching Dora on the bean bag (yes, Amelia had pulled off her shirt):

Christmas Fun - Part 4!

More pictures from our Holiday adventures!

Sunday

We had a relaxing morning hanging out at Grandma D's house. We decided to try another attempt at the lovely Michigan snow...

... but this time on a sled:

Getting a fast ride from Daddy:

Weeeeee!

We found a little slope on the lawn, down to the neighbor's driveway:

She loved her little toddler-sized hill:

Grandma got in on the action:

Weeeeee!

Some more turns on the hill:

One... two... threeeee!

Daddy dumped her out on a turn:

But quickly made her feel better:

And then we realized she could get some real movement out on the street:

"Go go go!!!"

Unfortunately, the spills were worse on the street:

Now some sledding in the backyard:

And eating some snowballs:

Thanks for the snack, Grandma!

Then we came back in to warm up. Her little face had some road rash and was cold. Her hands were cold too - so we put socks on them, which she liked:

Then our friend, Christine, stopped by. Amelia LOVED the purple sweater that Christine brought her!

Then they showed Christine the videos from the sledding adventures (to be posted here later!):

Grandma gave Amelia a purse, and she carried it all around like a little lady:

Thanks for the visit, Christine!!

Next, we went to dinner with some of Daddy's friends from High School.
Amelia loved hanging out with Nathan and Erica:

While waiting for their food, they ran around and played with Amelia's ball:

Amelia LOVED her macaroni and cheese:

It was a great night! Amelia really enjoyed going out and playing with the other kids. We all enjoyed the Christmas lights before heading back.
