Wednesday
We headed out of town, and Amelia was our valet, dragging around the suitcases:
She took a little nap in the car, covering herself with her coat:
And was grumpy when she woke up:
And then Mommy hopped in the back and we watched an Elmo video together on Amelia's new DVD player:
And then we got to Grandma Dona's house -- Amelia immediately started calling her "Namma".

She got comfortable quick, and started running around the house:
Grandma made some dinner, which Amelia slimed all over herself:
and then she went back to marching around the house:

What I love most about this camera (so far), is that it shows my favorite 2 people's gorgeous blue eyes so well.

A funny part of the evening -- Grandma's bathtub wasn't holding water for some reason, so Amelia was bathed in a plastic storage tub! :)

and then she went back to marching around the house:

What I love most about this camera (so far), is that it shows my favorite 2 people's gorgeous blue eyes so well.

Next, we headed to Lansing to Chris's step-brother's house, for the gathering with Grandpa's family.
Amelia LOVED cousin Emily's Dora doll!
Opening the stocking:
Amelia has 5 girl cousins all within about 4 years of her age, and 3 of them where there that day.
Helping Mommy open her first gift -- a bag for the new camera!

All the girls got these cute bunny slippers:
And then the mass chaos of the present opening. Amelia caught on quickly and started grabbing her presents like the other girls:
... but I think she liked the Dora wrapping paper the best!
Actually, her absolute favorite was a ball that came in her stocking and would light up when she threw it. This picture is mid-throw:
And she decided that climbing the stairs was a lot of fun!

We got back to "Namma's" house, and Amelia was so sleepy from all the activity, she just stood there zoned out, right before we put her to bed. :)
