Amelia was still a bit fussy with her teeth, and drooling and dripping a lot from her nose. We didn't want to leave her in the hands of some poor nursery worker, and we knew she wouldn't tolerate staying through the service with us (calmly, quietly...).
So we stayed in our pj's and hung around the house all morning.
Snack time (cookie AND popcorn!):
When we're hanging out at home, it's fun to put on fun outfits. Like a onesie and leg-warmers:
Amelia chatted on the phone with Grandpa Tom and then chatted on the webcam with Gramma Dona.
But then we started getting a little stir-crazy, hanging out inside so much, so we decided to go to brunch downtown.
Amelia leading the way:
Being entertained by cartoons on Daddy's ipod:
Eating her favorite - grilled cheese and glazed carrots!
Amelia munching, chatting with Daddy and dancing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsZ5uu6qYpU
After we were done, we made a quick stop at the library.
Amelia enjoyed doing this flip over the side of the play zone:
She picked out two books, and couldn't wait to read one!
After her nap, I made her a banana-blueberry yogurt smoothie, which she happily slurped:
And then went for a ride on Daddy:
But Amelia's been getting in a lot of trouble lately, mostly for pestering the cat too much and hurting her. It seemed as though she was causing a lot of trouble this weekend, because she had several visits to time-out.
Here's a view of Amelia (unhappily) in time-out:
But the rest of the weekend was spent like this ---- in motion!

And getting into tickle fights!
She was really fun this weekend -- laughing and playing and getting into mischief.
She has a lot of sassy new phrases, like "No daddy!" and "I don't want that!". But she's also really observant and conversational. I asked her where Daddy was and she said "In the bafroom" (bathroom). She's also all about "MY" -- like "where's MY cereal?". And she thinks "burp"s and "farp"s are hilarious. She tells us when it's bedtime "I'm tired Mommy", and loves to tell us when she thinks things are funny.
