Weekend Fun - Part 2!

Sunday morning.....

Breakfast time -- she had just pulled her suctioned bowl off the tray and the milk splashed all over her:

Then we got in our blue, and headed out:

To a UK basketball game watch party:

But Amelia was less interested in the game and more interested in a Mickey puppet show:

Afterwards (including a little nap in the car), we headed to the zoo! It was a nice enough day for our first visit of the year. Joey's family joined us.

Checking out the chickens:

Checking out the gorillas:

And the cutest thing ever.... Joey and Amelia holding hands as they walk through the zoo:

And then dancing together:

Yes, both of those pictures will be in the picture montage if they get married some day! :)

And then Daddy grabbed the camera and started chasing her around:

After the zoo, we went to dinner.

Amelia was using the salt & pepper shakers like they were instruments - shaking them back and forth:

A funny story..... Anything that you can shake and it makes noise (rattles, maracas, her kaleidoscope, containers with things in them, salt and pepper shakers...), Amelia started calling "shakey" or "shake shake".

But she has this musical player that has a song (it's a kid's song, I promise), that goes "shake, shake, shake your body...". So now she calls anything that shakes a "shake your body". Salt and pepper shakers were "shake your body".... her old baby rattles... anything like that. It's pretty funny. It's kind of like how she calls stars "how I wonder". She gets her own names for things, but still knows their real name.

Giving Daddy a chocolatey smile:
