We drove over to my Dad's house to spend Easter weekend.
While dinner was being put together, Amelia and Daddy played with some bocce balls in the yard:
The family enjoying a delicious salmon dinner:

Amelia playing on Grandma's piano. It's one of her favorite things to do there! But she calls it "singing" when she plays the piano.

Then we walked up to the hill to choose our spot:

As you can see from her hair, it was rather windy:

Waiting (not so patiently) for the official start:

Checking out the eggs, forming a strategy:

She was actually really good at it!
Mommy would help her locate the eggs:

Amelia would pick them up and try to open them:

Mommy would encourage her to put them in the basket and keep looking!

Enjoying some of her loot:

Getting a congratulatory hug from Daddy:

In the morning, there was an awesome Easter egg hunt at my old church.
Amelia got her face painted. You won't see this flower in any other picture, because she smeared it so bad we had to wash it off.

Afterwards, Amelia and Daddy played some games:

And then Amelia and Mommy worked on some crafts:

It was a fun event... there was food, an awesome band (with Grandpa on trombone), and a puppet show as well.

Amelia and her cousins played on this play area. She and her same-age cousin were both so on the move, that this is one of the best shots I got of them together!
