Halloween!

Happy Halloween!!

I wanted to take a picture of my little baby pumpkin IN a pumpkin....

Attempt #1 did not go well:

The pumpkin was freshly carved, and probably pretty cold and wet on his little bottom.

Chris humored me again the following day, after the pumpkin had dried out a bit and warmed up inside.

Luca looked so cute and even sat up on his own in the pumpkin!

I got him all dressed in his Halloween finest.... a onesie worn by his big sister 3 years ago (she was 4 months older at the time).

He looked pretty darn cute in it!

That night, it was time for Trick-or-Treat!

Amelia was back in her Cinderella dress, but with some warm layers underneath. Luca was plenty warm in his baby Dragon costume.

And off we went, travelling through the neighborhood, so Amelia could Trick-or-Treat!

Luca was hanging out in the stroller... no need for candy for him!

Actually, he only lasted in the stroller for about 30 minutes, and rode around in Chris's arms for the rest of the time.

He snoozed like this for probably an hour:

We trick-or-treated almost the whole 2 hours! The houses in our neighborhood aren't terribly concentrated in terms of trick-or-treat participation, and since Amelia was getting a ride on the sit-n-stand, she never tired of it either.

We were having fun, so we kept going.

It was a great night!
