Weekend Fun - Part 2

On Saturday, I did some Christmas shopping, while Amelia and Chris went on an adventure. Amelia's buddy, Joey and his dad tagged along. They went up to Bowling Green to watch Chris's college hockey team play -- the Lake Superior State Lakers.

After hanging out with Rick for a bit, they went to get some pizza for dinner.

Actually, Chris said that she was most intrigued by the opposing team's mascot, and a figure skater that was zooming around before the game.

But the Lakers won!

Amelia (and Joey) fell asleep during the ride home, and was surprisingly able to be transferred into her bed without waking too much. She easily fell back asleep.

Her bed was looking different than it did the last time she was in it. That morning, she decided that she did NOT want a nap, and climbed out of her crib! She landed with a thud and a scream, but calmed down really quickly once I came to get her. Chris quickly lowered her crib to its lowest setting. Soon, it will be time for her crib to be made into a toddler bed!

On Sunday, we all went to church, and then spent some time hanging around the house. We like a low-key Sunday after a busy Saturday!
