Terrific Thursday - Part 2!

A special treat for your Thursday -- a second set of pictures!

Michelle and Carrie came over on Monday night for dinner and play time with Amelia. Amelia clearly recognized these two friends, and greeted them with big hugs!

Racing cars together - Amelia thought it was hilarious!

This is the focused face of a girl that wants to win!

Amelia got all quiet and disappeared on us.... when we found her, she'd stolen another brownie!

We had an awesome time on Monday night, and decided that it needed to be a monthly thing!!

Terrific Thursday!

Here are some fun pictures from the past week...

Playing with a pair of sunglasses found at Grandpa's house:

This is the face she makes when she is smelling something. So here she's trying to get us to smell something (a fake flower), and she's making the face to indicate that:

Wearing someone's hat:

Amelia clearly has a look on her face that says "you know how to drive this thing, right??":

Wearing her bed sheet. I think it looks like she's wearing a veil:

Kissie for Daddy:

Enjoying some pear sauce:

Licking some chocolate frosting off her fingers:

I love the way she's looking at her Daddy in this picture:

And the look of wonder on her face as she takes in her surroundings in this picture:

Weekend Fun - Part 2

On Sunday, we were invited to Chuck E Cheese for Amelia's friend J.'s 3rd birthday party!!!

Fixing his birthday hat:

J. loved the shirt I made him so much that he put it right on!

Enjoying the toddler zone:

Our friend, Sam, borrowed my camera and showed off his prowess. He's a professional, so I say he was just showing off when taking this beautiful picture:

Enjoying the games:

REALLY enjoying the cake:

Yummy cakey face:

A hug goodbye:

It was a great weekend with family and friends! We have NO plans on the schedule for this weekend, and I have no clue what we're going to do! :)

Weekend Fun - Part 1

On Friday, we headed over to see my Dad on his birthday! My brother's family and my grandparents stopped over, too, for a pizza party!

Amelia's cousin, Monica (almost 7 yrs old), is probably one of her best buddies. They always hang out a lot when we're all together:

Enjoying the pizza:

Playing Grandma's piano:

Happy Birthday Grandpa Larry!!

Enjoying the yummy cake that Aunt Laura made:

Birthday hugs!

Tea party with Grandpa:

On Saturday morning, we all headed to the children's museum in Dayton:

The girls running in together:

Just a smidge too short for the water area:

Playing with blocks:

Excavating in the dinosaur bones:

She dumped the "dirt" bucket over her head:

Going up the rope ladder with Daddy:

Shopping for fruits and veggies -- something her parents like to see!!

It was a really great morning, with a fun time at the museum with her cousins and a quick lunch. After a nap, it was time to head back home.

Saying "see you next time" to Grandpa:

Adventures with the Babysitter!

I got some pictures from Amelia's babysitter today.

These ones are from a trip to a museum in November:

"The first one is in the courtyard with the ball sucker - Amelia loves to put the balls in and then run and catch them when they fly back out!"

"Michael loves taking pictures in these things."

"In the Human Body Exhibit - Amelia was mesmorized listening to the 3-D sounds."

"This one is of Amelia and Danica playing hide and go seek in the curtains - this has been their favorite game for months!! :) "

Next some from December:

"Amelia's famous photogenic smile :) "

"The kids opening up their presents from Amelia - they were very excited!"

And then some from January:

"Amelia and Michael playing with the trains. Amelia was so cute because she could barely reach but she was mimicking Michael's 'vrrrrrrmmm!'"

"The first time we went out into the snow for a long time!"

"Amelia is clapping - we finished the snowman and I started clapping and said 'Yeah!!' So everytime Amelia went to the snowman she'd start clapping."

"Fun in the sled!"

Hope these pictures brighten your day as much as they brightened mine!
