On Monday, I had the day off and Chris didn't, so Amelia played hooky from her daytime babysitter's house and joined me on my adventures.
In the morning, we went to a childrens' museum. We've never been together, but she goes probably 1-2 times per month with her babysitter and the kids, so I knew she would be ready to show me around.
Michelle (babysitter) gave me the details about Amelia's favorite features there, and I managed to remember all but 1!
In the space area, she likes this thing where kids can roll balls down this hole:

She could have stayed there forever, but I decided it was time to move on.
Next we went to the toddler/preschool play area.
Of course, she gravitated right to some balls:

And then suited up for the water area:

She wanted me to play along:

And then she found these fun beads:

She would not leave this purple ball behind - taking it to each thing that she played with (in the cart in this pic):

After she hit everything in that area, we moved on to a new area.
This is another favorite of hers, the hula hoops:

She especially loved running around with this purple one:
After a couple of hours, we left to have a girls' lunch before naptime.
It was a nice day off for both of us!

I think Miss Amelia really loves purple! Remember the purple sweater from Christine, now the purple ball and the purple hula hoop. Well, PJ would agree, she loves purple too.
