We invited Amelia's buddies, Max:
and Joey over for a mini party with the parents:
As you can see... Joey was asleep when he arrived, and stayed in this spot until 11pm, so he and Amelia completely missed each other.
It was a low-key night, but we enjoyed sharing it with their family.
On Friday morning, Amelia and I headed to the mall for a play-date.

So we came home, and Amelia took a nap.
After the nap, it was time to watch the Buckeyes play in the Rose Bowl!

And then enjoyed an OSU-themed cupcake for good luck!
Like her Mama, she knows that the frosting is the best part:
He may be lactose intolerant, but Daddy sure likes a messy kiss!
We took advantage of the favorable score and halftime to go check out some Christmas lights. We went to see a big display. It was huge and so nice to be able to enjoy from the warm car!
