On Friday night, we got together with our usual happy hour folks, with the addition of a new baby! Amelia's friend Carrick has a baby brother named Wyant!
On Saturday morning, Chris was finishing up his class prep, so Amelia and I went for a mega-grocery shopping event. She was mildly entertained by the dozen or so food samples at the fancy new Kroger Marketplace, so was pretty well behaved.
After her nap, we decided to take her out sledding.
See, the little sled we got her last year isn't as good as Gramma D's sled, in terms of keeping her upright as we pull her around.
And our backyard has a couple of decent drop-offs, so it was easiest to sit with her on the sled and zoom down the long portion of our driveway (the side that levels off and then goes to an alley, not the street!).
Zoom!!!
Heading back up the hill:
Ready to go again!!
Zoom!!!
Daddy going alone:
Mama's turn!!
Happy little snow bunny:
Amelia decided it was time to get out the broom and mop and clean:

Picture time! Pretending to be Mama perhaps?
On Sunday morning, I decided to give Amelia a bit of a treat, because she went to bed before dessert was served the night before. She had breakfast dessert of strawberries and cool whip:

And then we headed to church! Chris and I were the nursery attendants for the week, and Amelia didn't really respond well to us being in there. There were a few other kids that were sad to be left by their parents, and Amelia got really jealous whenever anyone else got our attention.
After a soup lunch at church, we headed home for Amelia's nap.
Amelia woke from her nap to find her last Christmas gift. See, we didn't feel like toting it to Michigan and back, and it seemed there was not a time in which a Christmas gift was not arriving for her, until now. So, she finally got her new shopping cart.

We had a couple of friends over on Saturday night, and it was their first opportunity to meet Miss Amelia. She certainly entertained them with her antics.
