By Friday, she was awfully clingy and it took a lot of effort to keep her happy:
We stayed in Friday night.... and all day Saturday.... and all day Sunday, too. Between her cold and the awful snow storm - there was just no leaving the house for us.
Unfortunately, this involved missing her cousin's birthday party. :(
On Saturday and Sunday, she stayed in her pj's most of the day, and watched a lot of cartoons. We usually limit that, but she was just so pitiful, we couldn't say no. She just wanted to lay there and watch, so I piled up her stuff in the living room into a little fort for her to hang out in.
So, we filled her with as many cuddles as she would tolerate, and as much food/fluids she would take too (which was not much).
Amelia stood at the window and supervised Daddy's shoveling skills.
There he is!
Sharing a smile:
Amelia in her comfy zone, watching a cartoon:
You can tell she was sick by her face in that picture.
Sunday started out pretty much as a repeat of Saturday.... pj's, cartoons, cuddles, sickies.
The only thing she would eat for lunch... broccoli!
That afternoon, she took a marathon nap (almost 4 hours!) and it must have been what she needed, because she woke up feeling a LOT better and with much more energy. The energy part was bad news for Mommy, who had succumbed to the cold, too.
Little girl finally getting back to her active self!

And then the moment when she realized that it was sticky enough to do this:

She did a little better with her dinner. I made her peanut butter toast (an attempt at getting her to consume anything).
She proceeded to lick the peanut butter off the toast:

Here you go, Mama!
