We had plans to go to the Fair, but we thought the weather was getting bad, so we went downtown instead.
Stopped at Amelia's favorite spot - the bookstore:

But then we realized, it was nice outside and the bad weather missed us! So we went to the fair.
Amelia and Daddy, on their way in:
Watching the pig races:
Here they come!!
Laughing at the goats -- they were licking her shoes:
Time for some rides! The carousel first:
And then, our BIG girl, went on the mini-ferris wheel!! She was a bit hesitant at first:
But thought it was GREAT when she was hanging out up top, while the bottom was getting loaded with new kids:
Coming around, she was really liking it:
The operator stopped the ride and put another kid in with her, which she loved. They seemed to be having a little conversation.
My dad, brother and nephew came over in the morning, so Dad coud buy that car that he test drove while visiting the previous weekend:

Amelia comparing her sports car to Grandpa's:

Jeff and Paul, checking out the car:

Amelia joining in:

Chris and I took it for a little spin:

A car fit for a princess:

Me and my girl:

Saying bye to Grandpa:

So long! Enjoy the car!

Next, we headed to a local fall farm festival -- Amelia still wearing her princess dress, of course:

Feeding the chickens:

Following up her BIG first from the night before (ferris wheel) - Amelia went on her very first PONY ride!!

She was so brave and confident - there was no harness keeping her on.
That hand you see (to the right) is me pointing at the saddle horn and reminding her to hold on with both hands:
