On Sunday, after lunch with Aunt Kay and Uncle Tim, we hit the road! We'd gone about 8 hours the day before, so we just had 3 hours to go to our final destination (had we gone directly from home, it would have been around 10 hours, which is an awful lot with a toddler!).
From VA, we drove across the Bay Bridge in MD to get to Dewey Beach, DE. For those somewhat familiar with that area, Dewey is between Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD. We had a condo there for 5 days, just 1 block from the beach.

Barricades to keep the girl where we needed her at Kay and Tim's.
She LOVES climbing stairs. She doesn't really get an opportunity at home, and she knows how naughty it is!
Saying goodbye!

Checking out the surf with Daddy:
We didn't get in the water that day, because a storm came in. But after the storm, came a beautiful rainbow!
