Rest of Last Week

Amelia is doing well. She is becoming a napping pro at home, and is sleeping pretty well at night, too. That might all change soon, as she has her first top tooth coming in. It started cutting through Friday, I believe, and from I've been told, they can take quite a while to come in. This is tooth #3 (contrary to a previous post in which I said I thought #3 was coming in then). But I do believe that #4 might be coming in as well at the top, but it hasn't cut through yet.


She had a busy week last week! She had a lot of fun with her friends at Sue's all week, as well as other adventures previously posted about.


On Friday night, Chris had somewhere to go to, so Amelia and I went to meet some folks for dinner. After, she met her second Santa of the season! She seems to think Santas are awfully funny, and loved looking at him. I think she told him she wants lots of things to chew on for Christmas.

On Saturday, in the morning, Amelia and I went to a holiday party, where there were lots of other kids for her to play with. She was so excited!

Saturday evening, we had some new friends over. They have an almost-2 year old boy that Amelia loved watching run around and they played together a bit.

Here's a picture of the first nap they've taken together -- taken a couple of weeks ago. They both fell asleep in mommy's arms at the end of the MLS final watching. This is out of character for Amelia to just fall asleep in a LOUD place, but she must have been tired.

On Sunday, we went to church and then Amelia and I did a little Christmas shopping. We finished out the weekend with a dinner with some local university friends.

Whew... how does a casual weekend with no plans turn into this?? :)
