Chris and I lost a friend this morning, a scooter buddy. Gary was a great guy... not a super-close friend, but one of those that you can see every month or two and totally pick up where you left off. He was a very giving man and a great leader of a fun scooter group.
You'd think we lost him due to antics like the picture below, but rather it was a heart attack. Last night, scooters across Columbus.... Ohio statewide.... and numerous other states tooted their horns at 9pm in honor of a good man.
And in Gary's memory, the littlest "Peasey" is wearing her Easy Peasey Scooter Posse onesie today. Gary and his wife, Caitlin, were so happy for us when we announced our scooter baby's coming, and always loved seeing her.
You can see where her top tooth is coming through, just left of center, in this picture. We'll have a little bunny rabbit by Christmas!
