I have no pics to share from Day 9, but did want to share that Luca went to his first wedding last night! We left Amelia home with Grandma and the rest of us went to my friend Erin's wedding.
Luca was very well-behaved, and was showered with attention. It was a backyard wedding, so he and I were able to sneak off into the house when we needed to meet one of his needs.
Day 10
We caught Luca napping on his side, with his little hands next to his face. So cute...

When we got home from church, we found Michelle and Kevin had arrived for a visit. Michelle met Luca at the hospital, but this was Kevin's first time seeing him. Amelia was very excited to see them!
In the afternoon, it was time for a parade! We all were ready, but hanging out on the porch, because it was raining on and off:

Just prior to the parade, there was a brief memorial in honor of 9/11:

But since the rain had stopped, the rest of us went out by the street.

Later in the day, I decided I wanted to try to take some more artistic shots of Luca. He was not in the mood to be unclothed at all, so it did not go well. Good thing we have newborn pics scheduled for the 16th!
