We spent two nights at the hospital, plus a good portion of the next day. Luca was perfect, but we definitely both needed some time to rest and recuperate before going home. He was seen twice by a pediatrician from the practice we go to, and I was well taken care of by the nurses.

We had visits on this day from Mommy's friend, Laura, and our pastor Jason and his wife Christan. Jason and Luca share a birthday!
Day 3
Chris had to take some pictures with soccer scarves...
We got Luca all dressed up in his coming-home outfit and the hospital photographer came in to do his first pictures.

We got home, and Amelia was SO happy to see us.

It was certainly nice to be all home as a family!
Grandma Dona had come down the day that Luca was born and stayed with Amelia while we were at the hospital. She so graciously stayed for another week, to help us get settled.

they are all such wonderful pictures, i could comment on them all. some really great ones of grandpa larry & the first 'chair' picture he looks the most he has like his poppa in any i've seen.
looks like big sis is gonna have to teach him to love water:)
